Over the years living in Calgary I've heard others mention a light
display somewhere around Airdrie? What and where exactly is this? Do
you pay to see them? I'd like to take my roomie out for a drive to see some lights. It may
be his last Christmas. |

-I think you might be describing Airdrie's "festival of lights"
http://www.airdriefestivaloflights.com/ -Don't know about Airdrie, but there's a big display at Confederation
Park on 14th St just south of John Laurie. It's on the west side with
a drive by lane off at the north end when heading south. Another good display is the Zoo lights, at the zoo. But
you have to walk to see them. Parking is on the north side of Memorial
Drive. This costs $8-10, Confereation Park is free. |
