what's new for tropical Christmas ornaments projects?

I'm quite pleased with myself today. Last night, I finished the stitching on the last of six Mill Hill tropical Christmas ornaments I've been working on. The pattern is from the Tiny Treasured Diamond series and it's called, "Petite Pine". Now I just have to assemble them before Christmas. This morning I pulled the beads and prepped the perforated paper to make a couple of Mill Hill beaded Christmas ornaments from the Holiday Beaded Jewels series. The designs are: Golden Teardrop and Peacock Treasure Box. I've had the supplies for approx. 7 yrs....(grin) and I'm just now getting around to stitching them. So what have the rest of you started lately?

-To take a break every once in a while from the beading on Celtic Christmas (all of the stitching is done)- I started my very first Hardanger project. It is a bell pull (Heart Bell Pull from Nordic Needle done in blues) and it is going well so far. Of course, I've yet to cut anything :-) I've also been playing around with designing some tin toppers. If the first one for "me" turns out well, I may try to whip up simple designs and sell them at the school's Santa Shoppe this year. And what would I like to start soon? I really want to start Mirabilia's Giggles in the Snow and then there's the Happy Holidays bell pull by Betsy Foster in the BH&G Christmas issue, and the Sekas stained glass ornaments on perforated paper, and other Christmas ornaments - I've got most of the first of 5 tropical fish done - "The Ocean" by Cross My Heart - on 32-count black linen. I bought another Mill Hill leaflet last night - more Christmas stuff. While the patterns are not overtly religious, they're all gold & silver or rich reds and greens, which I just love! And I guess I'd better make myself a NOEL banner! I made two last year, but gave them both away. -Despite the fact that I have TONS of S.E.X. and a current Gaelic sampler that I'm working on, I went to the store yesterday and bought three little redwork Christmas ornaments that I'm going to start. I bought one a few weeks ago and finished it up the other night. Now I'm hooked on redwork (in addition to counted xs and needlepoint, which I just recently took up).
