I was thinking about this on Christmas day. I received a present that is
probably the most thoughtful gifts my husband has ever purchased. I suffer dreadfully from lack of sunlight in the winter. I try to go outside
everyday to soak up a little sun but it's just not enough. I get lethargic,
grumpy and slightly depressed. I won't go so far as to say I have full blown
SAD but I find winter very difficult to deal with. I just don't have the
energy to do all the things I normally do and love in the summer. So my husband purchased a light box for me. I've looked at them for a while
but considered them too extravagant. He purchased the strongest one you can buy
on the market w/o being a professional. |

-My friend bought me a new 40 gallon gas water heater and will install it
later this week. He is all about "practical" gifts and my water heater is
about to die. - I started collecting nutrackers last year (I had three before Xmas) and this year DH bought me a Steinbach
nutcracker! I'm so excited! I feel like a "real" collector now.
Here's a photo of the one he got me: http://tinyurl.com/3gemp He
bought it at a German Christmas store. It was so thoughtful of him!
I can't believe I own a Steinbach. All I got DH is a hammock with a
stand. -If any of you recall, I had my purse stolen in late November, along with my
red Pucca wallet that I simply adored. (Hello Kitty fans know of Pucca -
I'm too bad ass for Hello Kitty). Well, the bf searched far and wide and
found me a VERY similar wallet. Pucca and all, but now with more spots to
put pics of my beloved niece.Sounds silly, I know, but it means a lot and is by far one of my favourite (and most useful) gifts. -Photo book of cloud picture since I bought a new condo that is all
greenhouse windows and totally surrounded by clouds. |
