-The music is Wizards in Winter on the
album "The Lost Christmas Eve" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

They were here a couple weeks ago, the people I
know who went said it was one of the best concerts they've ever been to. -If you have any opportunity left to catch TSO, go for it! This was
one of the best shows I've seen ever, and I've seen alot. The
musicianship is fantastic (check our Anna Phoebe on rock violin - the
Yngvie Malmsteen of the violin world), and the light show and
pyrotechnics are sure to please. Huge band: 2 guitars, 2 keys, bass,
drums, string octet + Anna, three feamle singers and four male
singers. Very intense show overall, mostly classical music and about
half Christmas music, but not like you've ever heard it before. And
some tributes to rock bands - they played part of Rock and Roll by
Zep, and during an acoutic guitar part, the guitarist playing at the
time tossed in about ten seconds of the intro to Roundabout as a
little tribute to Yes. He seemed to be looking at someone in the front
row at the moment, as if playing to whoever, so maybe Trevor Rabin or
someone like that was there in the front. Anyway, great show, still
has a few more weeks so if you have a chance to catch the show, go for
it, you won't regret it. |
