Tipping for Polish Christmas Ornaments?
I received a gift certificate for a pedicure for Christamas. Was unsure
about going since I was a male, I finally got up the courage to try it,
and I really liked it, so much, I made another appointment. I was
surprised how many males were getting pedicures. Question is, the
pedicure is $35.00, how much is appropriate to tip the individual giving
the pedicure? |

- I started getting some really crappy pedicures so I just started
doing it myself. But now that winter is almost over and its warming up a
bit I will have to find a new place because my feet are a total mess after
being in boots for months! -I usually tip my pedicurist 30 percent because I request an extra-long
foot massage and and am very particular about the application of the
polish. Many salons are carlesss and messy with the polish application
and since I only wear red polish, careless polish application is very
noticable. She is also very good at nail art and for Christmas I had
my toes painted red with aribrushed Christmas Ornaments. I am very
lucky to have a good pedicurist that gives a good foot message, is
excellent in nail polish application, nail art, and is a very nice
person that I enjoy talking with. -On Friday I had a lovely manicure and pedicure at a spa in Tribeca called Sweet
Lily. Manicure was $18 and pedicure was $34. I tipped the manicurist $4 and
the pedicurist $6. |
