Didn't somebody say something about MF pictures Of Christmas Presents
being on the web now?
I'm in my office looking at the list web pages but can't find any new
pictures in the gallery. Are they somewhere else? |

-And this reminds me that this is the year I'm going to do my Christmas
shopping early. I set an all-time record (for me) last year by finishing
my shopping by Dec. 23 -- I'm going to try to back that up by at least one
day this year -- which means I'd better start now. One good thing -- with
the accumulation of wrapping paper found in cleaning out closets, I won't
be needing to buy Christmas wrapping paper for about another five years. -This reminds of the days when Bob and I wrapped our children's Christmas
presents and, on the "from" part of the gift card, would write "an elf" or
"Mrs. Claus", or one of the reindeer. We got caught when Zach looked at
one of his gifts and it said it was from "Dancer". My bad. I guess I was
up too late wrapping and got a little delirious. -In my family, it's always a contest to see who can write the best tag.
Use of simple names in the To: and From: fields simply is not allowed.
One must be creative. In most cases the tags are more interesting than
the gifts! Also, there is a strict tradition to the manner in which we open gifts.
Usually the youngest person in the room gets to open the first gift. Then
when that person is done, and the gift has been evaluated by everyone
else, the receiver has to pick out a gift for someone else. The gift
cannot be for the person doing the picking, but it can be from that
person to someone else. It generally takes 6 hours to get through all the
gifts. |
