Do you have your child open all the presents on christmas eve, or on Christmas
Day? OR... do you have them open some up on each night? I want the girls to
open up 2 that are from us, and then label the rest from Santa to be opened
Christmas Day. Sam thinks it should be the opposite. I don't think it matters,
but I was just wondering what you all are going to do. |

-We had the kids open some yesterday. We'll also have them open some on
Christmas morning. And we might wait a bit and open some for New
Year's. I have found that my kids get Night Terrors if over-stimulated
by too many presents (previous Christmas and birthdays). When they are older, I am hoping they'll be able to handle it better but
for now, they feed off of each other and the energy level gets frenetic. -We open a single present each on Christmas eve and that is ALWAYS new
pajamas. On Christmas morning we have Santa first (not wrapped), and after a
nice Christmas breakfast ( monkey bread, scrambled eggs with cheese and ham,
bacon, pancakes etc.) we straighten up the Santa stuff and open presents from
each other, my parents in California, friends who have sent presents, etcetera. - In my house, we always did our family presents on
Christmas Eve. Then when I got up Christmas morning, there would be more
presents under the tree from Santa! This year, we are traveling so we have our family Christmas tomorrow night.
But I have it on good authority that Santa is delivering Henry's presents to
his grandparent's house so he will have those presents on Christmas morning. |
