Miniature Christmas Ornaments?

At an after-Christmas sale at my local craft shop, I bought a kit for making a beaded Christmas tree. It basically involves stringing green seed beads on wire, making loops, and twisting them together to form the branches. Anyway, I've seen trees like this really decked out in all kinds of tiny ornaments and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get them? Regular "miniature" ornaments (like what Hallmark stores sell) are too big! The store where I bought the kit does not carry the ornaments. Someone out there must know what I'm talking about!

-My Mom and I have used earrings to decorate mini-trees. Also, a lot of craft stores have these items at Christmas time. -Dollhouse shops sell miniature Christmas tree ornaments intended for trees about 6 inches tall (which would be six feet in "real" scale.) Nutshell News and other miniatures books/magazines have published instructions probably every year for making all kinds of tiny ornaments. (Miniature Christmas trees are appealing to lots of people who don't otherwise like minis.) Individual beads, sometimes topped with a glued on silver seed bead to look like a "cap", can be used as glass balls. Little candy canes and balls can be made from Fimo, which is how I got involved with the stuff. Tiny plastic angels and teddy bears etc. are available. You can make paper chains from quilling tape cut in half lengthwise then glued in links just like construction paper. (Wrap around a dowl of appropriate size...) "Popcorn" can be strung on thread made from crumbling the appropriate type of styrofoam (the kind theat is composed of little balls and LOOKS like it would crumble...) Think about any big sized Christmas tree decorations you like, and think about how to make it tiny. For a glass bead tree, I would suggest trying to stay with bright colors and shiny textures -I made this tree for my sister-in-law for Christmas. I cheated though because I bought the kit where the beads were already strung on the wire :) Since I bought the kit at Michaels I looked around in that store and found tiny ornaments made for these kits. I bought several of them to put on the tree as well as a tiny, tiny nativity scene to put under the tree. I also added wrapped presents under the tree and tiny little toy miniatures. It actually turned out real cute!
