I imagine all the Christmas decorations are up and
running by then. We have seen the little set-up behind the Flamingo,
and the decorations at Sam's Town. Is there any place else that is
really special that we should check out this trip? We drive from LA, so
we have a car, and my boyfriend likes to drive around, so it doesn't
have to be on the Strip.
I'm going to be there at Christmas.
I heard on our local news (SF Bay Area) that Bellagio is going to do
the Conservatory up including a tree decorated by Martha Stewart.

-Regarding Martha Stewart: "she may design the tree, the flowers and
show are designed by the landscapers".
She also has a great beach towel collection with animals from the
Galapagos. -The gift shop in the Porte Cochere (Lobby) at th MGM was decorated last year
with lovely Christmas trees and angels - Don't forget the Fremont Street Experience downtown. We visited at Xmas
in '95 and there were special holiday lightshows, decorated trees, and an
iceskating rink on Fremont St. at that time. -I think we went down to the Freemont Steet Experience last year in
December, and just saw the usual show. Does anyone know if the
Christmas Show only goes on at certain times? -Nevada Magazine lists the dates of the Fremont Street Experience Holiday Festival
as Dec. 14-26. |
