I have King Diamond's greatest hits album "A Dangerous Meeting". There is a
song called 'No Presents for Christmas', which comes from an album "The Dark
Sides". For some reason, I never saw this album in stores and it wasn't even
mentioned anywhere else. I even read an interview with King Diamond where he
mentioned all of his albums except "The Dark Sides". Does anybody know what
kind of album that is? |

-"No Presents for Christmas" was King Diamond's first solo work and it
was originally released as 12" single. "The Dark Sides" is a mini LP
with 6 songs in it. One of the songs is quite rare and have been
released on B-sides of the singles etc. The song listing: 1. Halloween - From the first King Diamond LP "Fatal Portrait" 2. "Them" - Originally appearing as the title track of King Diamond's third LP "Them" 3. No Presents for Christmas - Taken from 12" single 4. Shrine - Originally appearing as the B-side of the Family Ghost 12" single (July '87). Recorded during the Abigail sessions. Probaly the best KD
song ever. 5. The Lake - Recorded during the sessions of Fatal Portrait. Probably the rarest
of all KD tracks. 6. Phone Call - There's no music here - just pure horror. Previously appearing only
on the CD of "Them" The catalog number of the CD is RR 2455 2 and it's on Roadrunner
