Italian Becomes A Tree Ornament

Italian Becomes A Tree Ornament It appears that most of the rctn participants are cross-stitchers. A few years ago, the discussions appeared to be more diverse. Can anyone point me to other groups that address a wider range of stitching techniques?

-I think there are some people like myself that may talk about cross stitch a lot but actually do plenty of other things. I crochet ( my greatest skill I've made tablecloths, several bedspreads, countless dollies, filet crochet pictures, rugs, Christmas ornaments and God knows what else) But I don't do clothes. Someday. I Cross Stitch but still do not have anything up on my walls I am much too cheap when it comes to professional framing, though one of these days. I'll break down and have a half dozen done projects framed professionally. I do Needlepoint but kits don't agree with me much, so I rarely finish anything. Leon thinks its the Word: KIT - I like working from scratch. I have finished several needlepoint Christmas ornaments and plan to make them up this summer. I do a great deal of beadwork... I'm actually pretty good at it, I use to do it back in the '60s and '70's but could not find the beads for a long time (very innocent or stupid, why didn't I ever think of catalogs back in then ?) I picked beading back up when bead stores opened here in the Northwest. And I make necklaces of varying complexity and other projects, I know how to bead on a loom (taught myself back in the '70s) and I do know how to do off the loom bead work, but still have not done a project, I am waiting this year to invest in the Delica beads because Leon's job is very uncertain. . I do work with polymer Clay but I am so new at this craft I don't even like to mention it.
