Please let me say that I have never taken part in cards to
people about Christmas time. The thought of people spending their money
and time to send cards just does not seem right to me and I have never
done it. I set here at my computer and look at most of a wall in the
room covered with cards from people about the holidays. I read the
messages and the names and remember conversations and discussion with
people from all over the world. I would guess that the cards are from
over 20 different countries.
I truly love you all,,,,warts and all,,,,weakness and strength,,,the
things that makes each one of you the special person you are that takes
part in a website which sends it heart in emails, which sends it
collective mind to help people from all over the world, which puts its
around the someone that needs it. That is the true story of Christ and
Christmas. Love,,,sharing pain,,,sharing success and victory when just
getting that jar open or making down some stairs is a victory. These
words are my Christmas card to you this year. I look at the names and
cards and get enjoyment that I did not understand before and wish to
share it if my Lord gives me another year to share with you.
When nearly all my family is gathered around our dinner table to
celebrate Christmas dinner and I am going to say the blessing of this
food and those that are gathered around the table. I will ask God to
continue to bless all my friends on the internet that have shown me what
Christmas is really all about and may it last till next year. May all
of you have a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holiday or what ever you call
this holiday season in what you believe.

I did wonder about the "Dr.", but decided it didn't
really matter that you hadn't mentioned it before.lol
I'm so glad you are enjoying the cards...I just got one from Australia
today and my daughter hasn't let me put it up yet 'cuz she's just so
thrilled with it. You're right about the expense, but I consider it to be
my gift to myself and really enjoy it. That was so well said and I agree with you with all my heart. I, too, did not
sign up for the list and have never done it but then I started getting these
wonderful cards! I had to contact Tony right away to get a list sent to me!
Then I rushed out and got my cards and had so much fun addressing them that I
sent them to all my "other" friends, too! It has been the highlight of our
Christmas...my husband can't wait to get the mail and read where they are from! |
