I work part-time at a local 'big box', and could tell that folks where
starting to put up their Christmas lights. I had three people come in today,
looking for a male-to-male plug adapter, to connect two strings of lights
together, via their female ends. I don't recall ever seeing such a device,
although I'm guessing they exist.
When hanging Christmas lights, plan ahead? |

I always thought you plugged them in first (to check which lights need to be
replaced and to be sure the string reached the socket) and work from the
socket out. You mean there is another way? I have manufactured one or two. But I don't believe they sell them over the
counter. The things are dangerous. And I don't need no cracks about male to
male sexuality here.
I did it as a temporary rig to hook my generator up to the house by running a
plug from it to a household outlet. It worked of course but is not the most
efficient method nor will it power your 220 appliances. |
