Does anyone have any ideas of easy Christmas horse crafts my 4H kids could
do? Anyone has ever decorated door? |

Our barnrats have started making 'horse stockings' using gunny sacks to
hang on stall doors for Santa to fill with carrots, apples This craft always went over well on a rainy day at horse camp: you can
spray paint cleaned and de-nailed horse shoes , which then can be
decorated and painted-to add a Holiday theme, try using Holiday colored
ribbons, jingle bells, artificial flowers or whatever else is lying
around. These make good front door decorations if you write "WELCOME" on
them. Just remember-when they are all done, hang them open side up so
the luck doesn't run out! If you mix equal parts of applesauce and cinnamon. you can roll the stuff
out, cut it out with horse-shaped cookie cutters, thread a red ribbon
through it, hang to dry and you have great smelling ornaments! (Not for
consumption by either man nor equine beast!)
Or how about making horse treats? I'm sure someone here has a recipe. |
