i am anxious to find a copy of a song from a Disney Christmas album I had as
a child (cir 1982).
I'm sure the album was called Disney Presents A Family Christmas, and it was
almost identical to the current CD of the same name, except it had a song by
Chip and Dale called "The Chipmunk Song" or "Christmas Don't Be Late".
I mail ordered the current release, and it arrived today. The songs on it
are without doubt the same songs on the album I had as a child, performed by
the Disney characters, Larry Grace, the Disneyland Children's Choir, the
Mike Sammes Singers, and others, but instead of the Chipmunk song, it has a
track called "From All Of Us To All Of You".
The cover of our album had a dark blue background, and the Disney characters
standing under a street light carolling. I think!
If someone can help me locate a copy of the Chip and Dale version of the
Chipmunk song (and not the Alvin and the Chipmunks version) on any medium, I
would be forever grateful.
There is a silly story involved - our record was scratched, and used to jump
on the Chipmunk song. My brother was only 3 years old at the time, and used
to sing the song as if the scratch was part of it (So hang your stockings,
and... hang your stockings and... hang your stockings and...), and it was
part of a long running family joke
Help me to find Disney Presents A Family Christmas song? |

I have been able to determine that the album was called
"Disney's Christmas All-Time Favorites", and had Daisy and Donald, Goofy,
Micky and Minne and Pluto on the cover, all singing and reading from a page
marked "Noel".
There was also a Christmas tree and a house in the background. |
