I got a catalog today that I had not seen before from Bronner's. There are
fantastic glass Christmas ornaments in it and the prices are good, I think.
They start at about $5 and go up to about $16. The variety is fascinating, for
example a golf ball, club and golfers bag. There are ones for all kinds of
sports, occupations, a set of 8 tools ($18), Santas, snowmen and on and on.
We spend the holidays with out daughter and she likes unbreakable
ornaments...she has 3 big house dogs, 2 cats, one 3 year old) but I might send
her a couple anyway. The variety fascinates me, or can you tell? Their number is 1-800-652-3466. I just found a pizza slice, hot dog and a turkey ready to
serve. I have no connection with them, but think I might get one by getting a couple
of the ornaments. Boo, who loves Christmas decorations |

Guess what? I went to a German music festival a few weeks ago and there
were just a few souvenirs being sold, but I found a glass "pickle"
Christmas ornament. I remember reading all about that tradition on this
board last year. I couldn't resist and bought one for my oldest DD, who
has been a pickle-puss all her life (she *teethed* on pickles and one of
her favorite books was "Pickle Juice"). Anyway, I was so proud of it. I showed it to DD#2 and she said, "That is
positively the *ugliest* thing I've ever seen in my life!" We had a good
laugh over it and I've put it away for a real surprise when DD#1 comes
home from college for the holiday. |
