I don't know if I am in the right group or not. However this did seem to
be the closest one that fit my needs. I know that this may seem a bit on
the unusual side being that Christmas is still four months away, but, I
cannot seem to find any good designs and patterns forChristmas yard
decorations. I am looking for plans on how to build a wooden sleigh with
reindeer to match. I am also looking for plans on how to build a medium
sized manger(sp?) as well as patterns for the typical yard
cut-outs.(Santa, Mrs Claus, Elves, Wise men, etc...) I hope that I
have not wasted anyone's time withh this post. |

A company called Meisel Hardware Specialties in MN somewhere has quite
a few of the plans you are looking for. They usually advertise in the wood-
working mags like WOOD and have a 1-800 # for orders (that unfortunately only
works from the US). They charge for their catalogue and, also unfortunately,
are very quick to drop you from their mailing list, as in-if you don't order
from every catalogue you won't get the next one( I speak from personal
experience). Its unfortunate (theres that word again) because they have some
good plans. Another excellent company is "The Winfield Collection" at 1-800-WINFIELD.
They have excellent patterns and DON'T charge for their catalogue. They accept
orders from Canada & the 1-800 number works from here too. |
