My DMIL determined last Christmas that all Christmas presents for this
upcoming year were to be made...! I get a chance to make everything for
DMIL, DFIL, and 2 BILs! Now, here's my thing. I found the stitchable mouse pad kits at 123Stitch,
and I bought it. Now, a design! It's for DFIL, and the instruction sheet
says a design (preferably square or slightly rectangular) should be from
22x22 stitches to 54x54 stitches. This side of the family has a wonderful sense of humor, and I would really
like to make this fun. I want to play off of the "mouse pad" type of thing,
or even the "computer mouse" thing. (Mouse pad = house in which a mouse
would live and Computer Mouse = a mouse using a computer). But, I can't
find any patterns that are right for this endeavor! I have been searching the net for about an hour or so, and keep coming up
with dead ends. I have even just looked at clipart that I could try to turn
into a chart - but haven't found anything cute and funny! My stash has
revealed nothing so far either...although I still have a couple more books
to go through. Any ideas out there? I *know* someone here has to have done something like
this before! |

I just ordered 2 for a BIL
and a cousin I never know what to give. I'll watch to see what suggestions
you get for a design, and if I find anything I'll let you know |
