I wallpapered another room- a bedroom, and I ended up with 3 extra rolls.
I like the pattern, so I am wondering, besides covering hat boxes and making a
valence, what else can one do with extra wallpaper? I know you can cover a
lampshade with cloth, but what about wallpaper? Any other ideas? Can you
decoupage with wallpaper? and around christmas lights? |

As far as i know you can decoupage with wallpaper but i'm not sure if it
takes the finishes as well as regular paper, i've never tried it. I used Mod
Podge Sparkle finish over wallpaper and it looked great.
You could use the wallpaper to decorate letters, even if the pattern is
simple(ish) create stencils or stamps from it. Papering cupboard doors looks
good but if its melamine (sp?) i *think* you need some sort of primer?
Making pictures using the wallpaper as a background, with mirror bits over
the top, and a plain frame. |
