I got the coolest new stamp today,
but I'm so frustrated! The name of the stupid company is not
on the stamp!! I got it at Michaels in the Christmas
aisle--it is mounted on acrylic with clear rubber stamp--so
you can see straight through the entire stamp to the paper!
There is a whole series of stamps. The stamp I bought is a
moose with christmas lights strung around its antlers and a
stocking hat with holly on its head half covering its
eyes--it's so darling! But is was terribly expensive, so I
want to find them on-line to see if I can get them
cheaper--so if anyone recognizes the company let me know!
All it says on the whole stamp is Patent Pending, made in
Taiwan. |

-I finally made it back to Michaels today to ask them who
makes these stamps. The salesperson I asked didn't know and
started to have their buyer paged. While we were waiting,
she remembered she had seen them in a current scrapbooking
magazine she had just purchased, so she ran and got it from
the newsstand and paged through it until she finally found
it. Then company is...drumroll please...
Provo Crafts!
I knew they made tons of stickers, papers, clip art, etc.
for scrapbooking, but apparently they are foraging into the
stamp market. Their images are awesome! Michaels only had
Christmas stamps right now. The salesperson said she was
hoping they'd pick them up as a regular.
I have been searching the internet all day (yes at work too :-) ) trying to find some information on them, but no luck!
I especially want to know if they are angel stamps and if
there is a vendor online selling their stamps!
So, as you surf the net, keep your eyes peeled for me -Because my friend and I market a layout disk we do, I happen to know that
Provo allows you to use their graphics from thier disks for resale, so I
would be inclined to think they would do the same for stamps. |
