speaking of your christmas lights,,,,, how long does it take you
to take down your lights and decorations, and, more importantly, how
do you store all that stuff? |

-Taking down is quicker. It takes about a day to get them all down and about a
day to get them all boxed up. I label them all so that the next year I can
keep the things I liked the same. I also write myself notes for ideas I
had/saw this year. Next year when I open the boxes I remember my ideas.
Storage is a real problem. They usually take up all of my garage cabinets
since I don't have a shed. This year we just put some plywood up in the attic
so I can store things up there. It is not the best attic to navigate but I
wont need them for 10 months so this will be very cool. -I keep thinking about that. I have over 100 light strands in boxes though
so I would probably need to buy some each year to eventually have enough. I am
pretty anal about coiling them up, wire tying, and labeling them so I don't
have many tangle problems. Still, those little reels are cool. |
