I need some creative ideas to solve
a problem our Sunday School class is facing. We have agreed to adopt
a local family for Christmas. The problem is we are a small class and
will probably raise only about $100. How can we stretch that $100 to
about a thousand dollars worth of Christmas gifts, food, etc. The
family we have adopted has 5 people in; 3 boys ages 10, 11 and 15 in
addition to the parents. We want to be able to give the adopted family
the best Christmas possible for the amount of money we have |

-And maybe someone will say. thats nice he isn't even asking for money it
must not be aa con job..let me give money, they send $100 which $90 will
go toward your administration cost and $10 toward a family in need.
Or is $10 a wrong firgure.
I am amazed at how many scum bags appear on the net. -I can relate to your dilemma. I would do the following:
nice big turkey and cheap fresh vegetables (for 5+)...~$35.00
no gifts for parents and one gift for all three boys:
a nice bore hide dart board (~$40)and
three sets of good quality darts(~$8/set).............~$64.00
budget...~$100.00
Hope this helps! My son and his friends have really enjoyed the dart
games! You should be able to get pretty good quality stuff on sale for
no more than I've shown. You should get the darts interchangeable fins
so the boys can customize and change them up later (for cheap, too).
By the way what church are you with? |
