I want to buy some decorations that have more to do with Christmas and
less to do with the namesake marketing force 2006. i.e. I dont care much for
reindeers or snowmen, but angels and wise men are OK.
Can someone please tell me where I can buy more "traditional" christmas
decorations in Cambridge? |

-Do you mean you are looking for nativity scene/belen type arrangement? ISTR
there is a shop in Sussex St (well, the one with the picture framing shop
and musical instruments shop) that sells religious books, nativity scenes
etc etc - maybe not exactly what you want but it's a start.
On the subject of which, are we going to start a compo for 'worst exterior
xmas decorations'?. My street seems relatively tame this year -Last year's mayor awarded a prize for best decorations to an address in
Akeman Street. -The Secret Garden at Burwash Manor Barns has a big marquee full of
decorations. They have a lot of traditional stuff as well as modern stuff.
