Does anyone know the name or artist of a booklet on characters baked onto
Christmas balls. I had it but lost it. I've located other booklets with 1 or
2 of these projects but the one I'm looking for had only these Christmas
balls in it. I think it was on the Carol Duvall show a long time ago but I
couldn't find it on her web site. |

-are you talking about "sculpted" figures which are attached somewhere
on a glass Christmas ball ornament?
If so, are you looking for instructions, or just to buy them?
Here are some things from my website re what I think you're referring to: ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` ...Becky Meverden has a lesson on Carol Duvall showing how to make a snowman
with cap and sign, then glue it on top of a glass ball ornament with cotton
balls inside ("snowballs for sale").. some holly is glued to the outside also
http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/crafting/article/0,1789,HGTV_3352_1567322,00... ...Becky also has various books on this topic ...Dianne C's snow people on top of ornaments
http://www.pbase.com/artintheattic/christmas_year_round ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
If this IS what you want, there are lots of ideas, lessons, and other info on
making this kind of thing on these pages at my website:
CHRISTMAS > Glass Ball Ornaments
COVERING > Glass > Ball Ornaments
and for the figures themselves:
SCULPTING-GEN. > Websites > Whimsical
BOOKS & VIDEOS > Shorter Books > Mostly sculpting books (Becky Meverden and
others) (To get to these pages, go to my website --link below-- and click on each one
from the alphabetical navigation bar on the left)
If that's not what you're asking about, why don't you describe it a bit more? -Somehow I've missed seeing Art in the Attic before! That music box is
wonderful! But anyway, someone had a tutorial on making Christmas
ornaments with little characters (a cat and mouse I think) and I seem
to remember it was on Carol Duvall too? Does that ring any bells? |
