where are the best Christmas Lights?

where are the best Christmas Lights? We went cruising Friday nite with the top down, looking for some Christmas Spirit, but only found Bah Humbugs!! The Bluffs in Sheffield used to be great, but there are like *2* houses decorated now. :-( Wood Ave used to be good, and same thing, very sparse this year. Da 'hood does a better job than the Bluffs, LOL, who'da ever thunk? Spring Park is the best show we found, but the train wasn't running, so you can't see it all from the car. Have any of you seen any really good light shows in the Shoals? Where?

-I don't know why but people just aren't decorating outdoors this year. I noticed the same thing when we went light riding the middle of the week. Of course you can always make the trek to Spring Valley and see the light spectacular that those people erect. It is well worth the drive down there for anyone that has never seen it. It's like Santa Clause barfed Christmas in a 1/4 acre area. If anyone is interested that hasn't been I will give directions. -Lots of decorations have been stolen. In fact, my 3 candy cane lights got ripped off the other night. I think that older kids are doing these on dares. -Years ago, the Rivermont neighborhood in Sher-field used to decorate their entire street with candy canes and went completely overboard with house lights. Do they still do that? Bonus question: Does anyone remember the gi-normous cedar tree fill of lights over in The Village in Sher-field? The sight of that tree was confirmation the Christmas had finally arrived for sure
